Weststadt
Weststadt is an outstanding example of urban development from the Wilhelmine imperial era and is always worth a long walk.
Here you can marvel at villas with spacious green areas and Wilhelminian-style buildings that make Heidelberg-Weststadt one of the most beautiful and popular districts in Heidelberg. The centre of the district and meeting place for many residents is Wilhelmsplatz at the Bonifatius Church. This is where the weekly market takes place and, since 1973, the annual Weststadt Festival organised by the district association. Weststadt has been a listed building since 2012.
