Hiking trails of the Swabian Albverein and the Black Forest Association lead through the Eschach Valley. The section between Horgen and Eckhof is an area rich in variety. Valuable biotopes that still offer rare animals and plants a chance to live.

Beschreibung

The lower Eschach valley between Horgen and where the Eschach flows into the Neckar is as interesting geologically as it is difficult topographically. Nevertheless, the charming valley appears to have been settled in prehistoric times, for example in the Wildenstein area.
Forest and heathland still characterise the landscape of the Eschach valley today.
