The wine village of Rohrbach is one of the largest districts in Heidelberg.
Over 16,000 people live on the picturesque slopes of the Kleiner Odenwald. Vineyards, town forest, fields: The proximity to nature makes Rohrbach particularly liveable and endearing. The poet Joseph von Eichendorff spent part of his youth here and created a lyrical monument to the KĂĽhlen Grund.
Places worth seeing in Rohrbach include the Rohrbacher Schlösschen castle, the Wine & Culture adventure trail and Rohrbach's town centre with its cafés and restaurants, which has been redesigned in recent years and invites young and old to linger on warm summer evenings.
From 2 to 4 September is the Rohrbach Kerwe weekend. And on Sunday, from 2 to 4 pm, the Rohrbacher Heimat Museum is also open again. The museum team will be happy to tell stories about how life used to be here. Come along and learn something new about Rohrbach. Admission is free and it's well worth a visit!
