A unique location makes Remseck am Neckar the “town on the two rivers”: After one of the most beautiful and pristine sections of the river course through the nature reserve “Unteres Remstal”, the Rems flows into the Neckar at the so-called “Hechtkopf”.

Around 27,000 citizens live in the six districts of Aldingen, Hochberg, Hochdorf, Neckargröningen, Neckarrems and Pattonville. Remseck am Neckar has managed to retain the advantages of the village structures in the districts and at the same time enrich them with the infrastructure of a large district town.
At the geographical center, the KUBUS and town hall thus creating an attractive urban center. Museums, four castles (privately owned) and other historical buildings offer exciting insights into times gone by. For example the historic forge in Neckargröningen, the Margarethenkirche in Aldingen, the residential church and burial place of the Knights of Kaltental, the 1795 Jewish cemetery in Hochberg, the historic town center in Hochdorf with Wilhelmsplatz and the former farmyard of the Hochdorf castle and the old town hall in Neckarrems with its half-timbered gables.
With the Neckar Valley Cycle Path, Remstal Cycle Path and RemstalWeg, Remseck am Neckar is a worthwhile starting point or destination for cycling tours and hikes. The Neckar beach invites you to relax and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere by the water.
