Beschreibung
This short circular route leads to the surviving chapels in the neighbouring town of Rottweil. From the hospital chapel in Untere Hauptstraße, the path leads to the "Lorenzort" to the Lorenz Chapel. The small church was built around 1580 as a cemetery chapel and has been a museum of Rottweil stonemasonry since 1991. The route continues to the St Elisabeth Chapel in the retirement home of the same name. Close to Oberndorferstraße, the Dreifaltigkeitskapelle chapel marks a very old fork in the road and was probably once the boundary point of the Rottweiler Stadtbann in the north-west. Flöttlinstorstraße leads to Hochturmgasse. The Hochturmkapelle chapel is dedicated to St Jude Thaddeus; the mighty crucifix was probably made around 1400.
