The Odenwald-Madonna Cycle Route runs for around 160 kilometres through some of the most charming landscapes in southern Germany - from the Tauber Valley via the Odenwald to the Neckar Valley. The route runs from Tauberbischofsheim to Speyer and combines nature, culture and history in a particularly varied way.
The cycle path owes its name to the numerous Madonna statues, wayside shrines and wayside crosses along the route, which provide an insight into the religious tradition and cultural heritage of the region.
The route is well signposted and mostly runs along quiet cycle paths and roads with little traffic. Rolling hills, wide fields, shady forests and picturesque river valleys make for a varied landscape experience.

The Odenwald-Madonna Cycle Route is suitable for both leisure cyclists and sporty, ambitious cyclists and can be ideally explored in several stages.
