The historic old town with its churches, old city walls and four castles offers many opportunities to learn about the city's history.
In the Geopark south entrance gate, a lot of interesting information is shown about the Geo-Nature Park, the city of Neckarsteinach as well as the castles and the history of the Neckar Valley.
In addition to this museum experience center, the information center houses the Eichendorff Museum Neckarsteinach. Here, the poet's life and works are presented on display boards and through documents as well as scientific findings from well-known Eichendorff researchers and literary scholars.
