NeckarmĂĽnzplatz (NeckarmĂĽnz Square)
NeckarmĂĽnzplatz in Heidelberg is a picturesque square at the southern end of the Old Bridge and connects the old town, riverbank and historic buildings. It offers a popular vantage point with a view of the Neckar and the castle.

NeckarmĂĽnzplatz is an important square in Heidelberg's Old Town, located directly on the southern bank of the Neckar River below the castle and home to a stop for tourist buses. For most visitors coming to Heidelberg by coach, NeckarmĂĽnzplatz is the starting point of their city tour and castle visit.
At the bus terminal, which is about fifty meters long, up to three coaches can board or alight passengers at the same time. The approach is usually from the west, and the departure is exclusively in the eastern direction.
Historically, the square was an important site for rafting, located directly below the Heidelberg mills.
