Linsenberg-Rundweg

From the suburb of Göllsdorf, the trail leads steeply uphill to the Dissenhorn with a beautiful panoramic view of the varied landscape and Rottweil. The nature trail with its geological features forms an interesting section of this circular route. The alternation of hard rocks with soft marls and clays exposed to erosion by water in the geological sequence of layers forms the basis of this type of landscape, the Swabian stratified landscape. In the days of the imperial city, the "Jungbrunnen" was a popular spa. The picturesque nature reserve on the Linsenberg leads to the Linsenberg pond with its interesting vegetation and reed-lined banks.
