Beschreibung
The Langbein Museum is not a conventional museum. It invites visitors to discover and explore - not only the exhibits, but also the spatial “bracket” that connects these exhibits.
In this way, each room becomes a true cabinet of curiosities that invites you to discover its secrets time and time again.
Little by little, visitors also get to know the collector and naturalist Carl Langbein, who devoted himself to all things beautiful, religious and artistic.
For all its diversity, the Langbein Museum has an unusual and top-class collection, with individual pieces dating back to the 3rd century AD.
And finally, you meet Mark Twain, who got to know Carl Langbein one night.
