Beschreibung
The trail takes us on a journey through time into the world of the Celts. The starting point of this hike is a 315-year-old oak tree; oaks were already sacred trees for the Celts. Through the "Schwarzenbach" nature reserve, you reach the hamlet of "Vaihingerhof", originally an Alemannic village. Celtic square entrenchments and Celtic burial mounds bear witness to the ancient settlement of this area. A special feature along the way: the historical triangular stone with the initials of Rottenmünster Abbey (abbot's staff), the St John's Cross and the stag pole for Württemberg. A challenging hike that turns tranquillity, culture and nature into an extraordinary experience.
