Heimatmuseum im Egolsheimer Rathaus Ludwigsburg
Beschreibung
The Eglosheim town hall in Ludwigsburg has been home to a local history museum since 2010. Already a gem from the outside, the new museum contains small historical "treasures" on the inside. The first exhibition shows everyday objects and utensils - mainly from the period between 1890 and 1940.
A bedroom with laundry, a prayer bench and a shared room for kitchen and bathroom show life as it was common in the predominantly agricultural Eglosheim at the beginning of the 20th century. From a bobbin lace bag to a real "icebox", visitors can expect interesting insights into village life in the past. From December 5, the second exhibition will focus on children's dreams: railroads, doll's houses, construction sets, rocking horses and more will not only make children's eyes sparkle.
