Guttenberg Castle

“How did you become a knight?”, ‘What was part of the equipment?’ or ‘Why were castles built?’, the castle museum provides the right answers to these and other exciting questions. The castle museum has an exhibition on the Middle Ages, castle building, knighthood and the way of life at the time.

Visitors are also taken on a journey through the history of the Reformation. The castle experience is crowned by the unforgettable panoramic view over the Neckar valley from the 40-metre-high keep. After a tour, the castle tavern invites you to feast on original knights' meals.

Visitors can spend the night in the nearby medieval inn.
