Friedrich-Ebert-Platz is located in the heart of Heidelberg's Old Town and is a central meeting point for locals and visitors alike.
The square was given its name after the Second World War, when the former LeopoldstraĂźe was also renamed Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. At the same time, the former Wrede-Platz was renamed Friedrich-Ebert-Platz.
