Founded in 1884 and housed at the Herdersches Haus, the city museum features extensive exhibits on the history of this former imperial city.

Beschreibung

The exhibition centers on the imperial court and the Swiss Confederation, with focal points on dayto- day culture in Rottweil between 1750 and 1870, as well as Fasnet celebrations. The Baroque Herrenkramer‘sche Nativity Scene is „brought to life“ during the Xmas Season.
