Bettlinsbadwald circular trail

Mostly through sparse forest, flooded with sunlight, filled with the song of the local birdlife, beautiful views of the Eschach river with its typical juniper heath landscape - this is a path to unwind and recharge your batteries. The name says it all - the Bettlinsbad dates back to a bathhouse that can be traced back to the 15th century. The owner of the Bettlinsbad and the associated forest was the Rottweiler Heiligkreuz Brotherhood. This brotherhood was founded to worship the “True Cross”. Having become wealthy through donations, it was able to support poor students, widows and orphans. Today, the Bettlinsbad is home to a nature inn.
